Faster treatment for combis at no extra charge
Cleaning and maintaining combi boiler systems has been considerably easier since the introduction of System Cleaner and Corrosion Inhibitor in concentrate form - and Salamander's concentrates are supplied with a patented Universal Adapter so treatment can be carried out via the filling loop of the boiler.

"Concentrates offer considerable advantages over liquids for combi systems, as well as high efficiency condensing boilers and conventional systems, and as they don't cost any more to produce than liquids there is no need for installers to pay more for concentrates," says Salamander sales director Sue Clews. "There are even more benefits when using a product that combines cleaner and inhibitor in one cartridge, such as our Dualguard as this provides quick and easy compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations, as well as the Benchmark code of practice," she adds.

Since Salamander introduced its patented Universal Adapter it has found favour with thousands of installers. As well as providing a method of treatment via the filling loop, it enables concentrates to be introduced directly into radiators, into the expansion tank or via the drainage cock.

Salamander's dual action Dualguard cartridge works with standard cartridge guns and is divided into two compartments. The first compartment houses enough Fast Cleanse system cleaner to clean a system in one to two hours. The second compartment contains Corrosion Guard System Inhibitor concentrate to provide ongoing protection against corrosion after the system has been cleaned. System Inhibitor has been specially formulated to provide protection for aluminium, copper, steel and plastic including mixed metal and metal/plastic systems under both aerated and de-aerated conditions.

"Installers have more choice than ever before and are now in a position to choose high quality easy to use chemicals at a sensible price" Sue Clews concluded.
