Salamander to give installers a cut
SESI

A series of in-store promotions run by water treatment and care specialists Salamander Engineering, will kick off this month at Travis Perkins outlets nationwide to give gas installers a free pipecutter with every purchase of the Salamander 15mm SESI unit, that combats limescale in hard water areas.

Salamander's Daniel Green explains: "It's a simple promotion running throughout May and June which gives installers the tools they need for the job of protecting pipes from limescale build-up - a 15mm SESI and a free pipecutter.

"
This isn't the first time we've run this promotion with Travis Perkins but it's quite literally back by popular demand, as everyone needs a pipecutter!

"Our pipecutter/SESI promotion kicks off Salamander's extensive programme of national promotions that will run throughout 2006," he adds, "details of which we will be announcing over the next few weeks."

Salamander's SESI is a non polluting electrolytic physical water conditioning process that protects a pipe system from the formation of limescale encrustation and rust deposits (in the case of steel pipes) without the use of chemicals, salt and the need for any electrical power supply. It works by a natural electrolytic process, with the help of a zinc electrode – without using any magnetic or chemical technical affect on the water – and begins its process immediately after the unit has been installed. Hard salts are encouraged to cling to each other rather than pipework or heating elements. The process is not sensitive to low water flow.
